Successful Start-up Companies Graduate from Innovation Center

Tech Parks Arizona is pleased to announce that three start-up companies have recently graduated from the Arizona Center for Innovation (AzCI).  AzCI has worked closely with the founders of these start-ups to move their companies and technologies through the commercialization process and successfully launch their company.

Dataware Ventures LLC is a software company that helps enterprise application software vendors optimize the performance of their applications via its patent-pending micro-specialization techniques.

While in the AzCI program, the company enhanced its business plan, refined the market need it addresses and engaged with potential customers, made significant progress on its Proof of Concept application, successfully executed funding strategy, formed management team and hired several senior software developers.

“As a result of the guidance, mentoring, and training that AzCI provided, Dataware Ventures is much further along from where it was when it first joined AzCI. The company is well positioned for its ambitious 2014 milestones and initial product rollout,” states Richard Snodgrass, Ph.D., co-founder of Dataware Ventures LLC.

Property Management EZ LLC is a web-based property management software tool that helps landlords and small scale property managers streamline their business.

"With their outstanding mentors, networking capabilities and friendly environment, The Arizona Center for Innovation has helped my company develop a sound business model that will enable us to continue our dream of providing a great product to our customers," stated Arturo Salmeron, Founder & CEO, Property Management EZ LLC.

ViewSpection provides an image-centric inspection platform for the insurance industry. This web based application allows the user to identify hazards quickly and changes how inspections have traditionally been viewed.

Jim Gardner, founder of View Spection states, “AZCI has absolutely accelerated ViewSpection’s progress over the past 16 months.  We have progressed from an idea to a ready for market product.  Our mentors were constantly challenging our goals and plans and guiding us to make adjustments that were very important for our progress.  Our peers in the program were vital assets and ViewSpection gained many ideas from the collaboration time.”

“These successful start-ups exemplify our bigger vision.   Through interactive ground, we assist the University and community with their businesses to bring new technology into the market place,” stated Bruce Wright, Associate Vice President for Tech Parks Arizona and President of AzCI.

Arizona Center for Innovation (AzCI) provides facilities including office, wet and dry lab space and a structured business development program called Mentored Launch to assists start-up companies by using a series of workshops, seminars and networking events.  The companies also receive individual coaching from mentors experienced in technology innovation, product development and business management.  AzCI is actively recruiting clients for their 2014 Mentored Launch Program.  For details on how to apply, please visit www.azinnovation.com.
