In partnership with the Arizona Science Center, the funding provided by the Governor’s Summer Enrichment Grant will support SARSEF’s CAMP INNOVATION in hosting hundreds of children across Tucson, Arizona at no charge.

SARSEF is collaborating with a diverse range of esteemed organizations in Tucson, AZ, including Tech Parks Arizona, to deliver an array of exciting summer camps for young scientists and ensuring accessibility and diverse learning opportunities for young participants.

“The partnership with UA Tech Park enables us to foster a spirit of innovation and scientific exploration among the youth of Tucson,” said Julie Euber, SARSEF CEO. “Through our summer camps, we aim to inspire the next generation of inventors and problem solvers.”

The collaborative effort between SARSEF, Arizona Science Center, and Tech Parks Arizona has resulted in a thoughtfully crafted curriculum designed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of innovators.

Summer camp at the UA Tech Park will take place June 19-23, grades 4-5, from 9am-3pm.  The camp will be hosted at the University of Arizona Center for Innovation at 9040 S. Rita Road, Suite #1270 Tucson, AZ 85747 where participants will have the opportunity to learn in a dynamic environment where 100+ businesses from startups to tech giants work side by side.

“At UA Tech Park, we are at the leading edge of where ideas are born, and businesses thrive. Surrounded by scientists and visionaries, this summer camp will bring attendees directly into a hub of creativity and collaboration. It is crucial to expose the youth to these ideas and innovations at a young age to inspire them and ignite their passion for tech and entrepreneurship. By fostering an environment where young minds can witness firsthand the possibilities of innovation, we are helping to shape the future generation of trailblazers and problem solvers,” expressed Carol Stewart, Vice President, Tech Parks Arizona, University of Arizona.

Registration for CAMP INNOVATION summer camps is now open and limited.

In case of high demand, registrants will have the option to be placed on a waitlist for additional weeks, ensuring that as many students as possible can benefit from this unique educational opportunity.
