The competition starts with selected presenting companies grouped into four distinct categories. The companies are chosen by a selection panel to advance to the live-demo portion of the contest, held January 29-30, 2018 at Galvanize Phoenix.  There they have the opportunity to win cash prizes and network with the region’s most active angel and accredited investors.  One winner from each category will receive a $10,000 cash prize for their business and a chance to take home an additional $10,000 grand prize.  Venture Madness is presented by Invest Southwest in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority.

AzCI provides a structured business development program that assists technology companies through a series of workshops, seminars and networking events.  The companies also receive individual coaching from mentors experienced in technology innovation, product development and business management.  AzCI is a unit of Tech Parks Arizona.
