About the team:

In the height of summer, during the longest day of the year, the rays of the sun were caught in a lone magnifying glass located precariously on a rooftop of Amphitheater High School. As the rays were focused and the energy condensed: suddenly – without warning – a small explosion emitted from the glass and, as the smoke cleared, 11 individuals were found standing in the wake of this sudden burst of cosmic energy. These 11 students, forged from the entropy of the sun itself, had only a single focus: to compete in the Racing the Sun Solar Go-Cart challenge. They embarked on this quest post-haste, immediately seeking out the local Electronics and Auto teachers: Dan Schneider & Shawn Jones. United in their quest to build the best solar cart around, the crack team of students set to work, constantly exuding the positive energy of the sun yet keeping their supernatural origins a secret from their peers.  Their brains are always working, firing on all cylinders, to find the best ways to harness the energy of the sun. They call themselves… the Sol Riders.
