Too many life-saving and life-improving medical technologies are denied by health insurers. The fault does not lie at the feet of the insurer but at those of the manufacturer who neglected to provide the payer with what they wanted, namely high-quality evidence of safety and efficacy. Medical technology companies waste time and fortune obtaining FDA clearance and everything else that accompanies forming a medical tech company only for their customers - the insurers - to deny coverage of their product.

The fields of Market Access, Health Economics and Reimbursement are the “new norms” for medical technology commercialization success. Sales and distribution success used to be tied to the strength of one's relationship with providers, insurers are now hiring health economists to push back on the provider's assumptions of a product's safety and efficacy. Medical technology companies that appreciate the value of a well-crafted health economics evidence will benefit in the market access arena. Those that don't, will wast valuable venture capital dollars and will be met with resistance in the marketplace.

Join us to hear from Nic Anderson, Managing Partner at LDD Partners what steps you need to take now to craft the required health economics evidence that will benefit you when going to market.
