EC&R Solar Dedicates Projects

E.ON Climate & Renewables Solar recently dedicated two solar photovoltaic projects in Tucson, with a combined total of 15 megawatts of solar capacity. Both projects have long-term power purchase agreements with Tucson Electric Power. The projects are the German company’s first solar developments in the U.S. market. The first project is a 5-megawatt project called Tech Park Solar, developed with the University of Arizona Science and Technology Park and Tucson Electric Power. The project started generation in December 2012. The second, 10-megawatt installation, Valencia Solar, came online in June 2013. For more details, visit www.eon.com/renewables and www.uatechpark.org.
