Advisories
Stay informed with operations updates impacting buildings and shared spaces across the UA Tech Park. These updates include scheduled maintenance, emergency shutdowns and public service advisories which may temporarily affect access to certain areas or services.
Power Washing and Painting Buildings | 10/12/26 - 11/30/26
Please be advised:
Tech Parks Arizona will have contractors power washing and painting buildings 9070 and 9052. they will be starting on building 9070 and continuing to 9052. Work will take place on the morning of Monday, October 12th 2026, through approximately November 30, 2026.
Exits/Entrances will be temporarily closed for a day at a time. No more than one entrance will be closed at a time. Interior/exterior signage will be posted.
Please use alternate doors as appropriate on these days and obey all signs/notices/barricades. These activities require site occupants to be vigilant and stay clear of work areas.
These areas are not to be entered by unauthorized personnel. The painting crews will be starting between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM.

For safety reasons, we kindly ask that Occupants:
- Be aware of your surroundings and follow safety protocols.
- Avoid the areas where work is in progress.

Cleaning and Re-Coating | 10/12/26 - 11/30/26
Please be advised:
Tech Parks Arizona will have contractors performing roof cleaning & recoating buildings 9052 & 9060. They will be starting on building 9052 and continuing to 9060. there will be service vehicles moving and parking around the loading docks of each building throughout the duration of the project. Loading docks will remain open.
Be mindful of workers and equipment in the area and observe any areas that are blocked off with signs, cones, or barricades.

TEP Transformer Relay Maintenance | 11/2/26 to 11/5/26 and 11/17/26
Tucson Electric Power (TEP) has scheduled relay maintenance on two transformers serving the University of Arizona Science and Technology Park (UASTP).
Vail IBM-A Transformer November 2-5, 2026
TEP will take the Vail IBM-A transformer out of service for planned substation maintenance beginning at 7:00 a.m. on November 2 and ending at 4:00 p.m. on November 5. During this time, UASTP will receive power from a single feed supplied by the Vail IBM-B transformer.
Vail IBM-B Transformer – November 17, 2026
TEP will take the Vail IBM-B transformer out of service for planned relay maintenance from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During this time, UASTP will receive power from a single feed supplied by the Vail IBM-A transformer. TEP plans to return the Vail IBM-B transformer to service once the maintenance is complete.
TEP has advised that all required switching will be completed before each scheduled maintenance period begins. No interruption to electrical service is expected during the switching, and no power quality issues are anticipated while the site operates on a single feed.
Although no disruption is expected, operating on a single feed reduces the site’s electrical redundancy during these periods. An unexpected power interruption remains possible.
