Three New Board of Directors Appointed to oversee University’s Tech Parks

(Tucson, Arizona) Three community leaders were elected to the Board of Directors of the Campus Research Corporation (CRC).

CRC is an Arizona 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation that assists the University of Arizona in developing,
operating, leasing, and promoting the UA Tech Park at Rita Road and the UA Tech Park at the Bridges.

The new members of the board include:

Jan Lesher, Chief Deputy Administrator, Pima County

Ms. Lesher brings extensive corporate, public and government relations experience to the Board. She served as
the chief of staff to the US Secretary of Homeland Security and Governor of Arizona Janet Napolitano. She also
served as the director of the Arizona Department of Commerce and Vice President of Communications and
Marketing for Tucson Economic Development Corporation. Her corporate experience includes positions as
Executive Director of the Tucson Community Cable Corporation, Vice-President of Warner-Amex Cable and
owner and president of Lesher Communications, Inc.

Tom McGovern, Principal Emeritus/Consultant, Psomas

Mr. McGovern brings strong business know how to the board as well as his engineering expertise in
transportation and infrastructure development. He is a Past President of the Arizona Section of the American
Society of Civil Engineers, with whom he has achieved the grade of Fellow. Mr. McGovern has also been
heavily involved in supporting the University of Arizona’s College of Engineering, serving on its Industry
Partners Board. He is a past chair of the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.

Duff Hearon, President, and Owner of Ashland Group

Mr. Hearon is a seasoned expert in the commercial real estate market and brings valuable legal and market
insight to the Board. After graduating from law school with the highest distinction he practiced real estate, and
commercial and tax law with southern Arizona law firm of Molloy, Jones & Donahue, P.C. From 1984 to
present, he is recognized as an “A” and “V” (highest rating for ethics) rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, the
National Lawyers Directory.
