The UA Tech Park has robust laboratory offerings including Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) facilities, wet chemistry benches with fume hoods, dry lab facilities and a prototyping center. Growing businesses have access to a lab manager, a range of equipment and cold storage providing companies the opportunity to research, develop prototypes and demonstrate their products/ Science-based business opportunities span from “renting-a-bench" to leasing a private lab. Our laboratory is GLP-Qualified (Good Lab Practices), ensuring that lab standards and equipment are of the highest caliber.

Prototyping Center

The Prototyping Center is available to support businesses to develop and refine their products. Located within the University of Arizona Tech Park, the Prototyping Center is housed in a dry lab and equipped with a 3D printer, laser cutters, and other essential prototyping equipment enabling users to move from concept to prototype with ease. Whether you are working on electronics, mechanical components, or software development, our expert staff is here to provide support throughout your project. Shared Lab Equipment

Official GLP-qualified laboratory facilities ensure that the lab standards and equipment are at the highest caliber for research. Therefore, companies who “rent-a-bench" have a solid foundation and can easily build their business using our equipment lab space and research documentation templates. GLP is required for Conducting non-clinical laboratory studies that support applications for research products regulated by the Food and Drug Administration.
