Stacey Lemos

Chief Financial Officer

Stacey Lemos is the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overseeing and ensuring accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting, financial system management, annual financial audit management, tax reporting, payroll operations, budgets, rent schedules, and grant compliance. 

Stacey brings a depth of financial experience serving over 30 years in various finance leadership roles throughout southern Arizona. She most recently served as Assistant Vice President/Comptroller at the University of Arizona overseeing accounting services, tax compliance, payroll operations, and financial reporting, including responsibility for the University’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and the financial audit conducted by the Arizona Auditor General’s Office.

Before joining the University, Stacey spent over 14 years with the Town of Oro Valley, ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer and Administrative Services Director overseeing procurement, human resources, IT, and finance operations.

Stacey also served in financial leadership roles with the City of Willcox, City of Tucson, and Town of Sahuarita, where she built foundational financial systems, established new finance departments, and managed audits, budgets, and accounting operations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
