Carmine DeBonis Jr., advanced the majority of his professional life working with Pima County, Arizona. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Regional Development, Carmine began work with Pima County.
Since this time, Carmine has advanced to positions of greater responsibility. His exposure to nearly every aspect of government service has allowed Carmine to foster effective relationships and contribute to enhancing the community.
From 2001 to 2016, Carmine served as the Pima County Development Services Director with a strong emphasis on partnering, team-building and providing exceptional customer service. Today, Carmine serves as one of three Deputy County Administrators for Pima County.
In this role, Carmine continues to rely on his numerous successful public service experiences to deliver County services for the benefit of the region and its residents. He oversees a diverse group of 10 departments that includes the Public Works departments, Economic Development, Environmental Quality and Finance & Risk Management.
Carmine completed his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of Arizona in 2006. He is blessed with a beautiful wife and two young-adult children.
