Emergency Response Plan
The purpose of this plan is to ensure proper public safety response in an emergency situation to prevent loss of life, preservation of property, scene stabilization, and environmental preservation. The Emergency Response Plan is not specific to one particular event, but rather should be considered a framework consisting of guidelines and procedures for public safety response in the event of an emergency or critical incident.

Emergency Communication Plan
The purpose of this plan is to provide concise, accurate, and timely communication to our constituents in the event of an emergency. This is a comprehensive document that establishes an organizational and conceptual plan so that all parties know what their responsibilities are.
The objectives of this plan are to:
- Provide accurate, factual, and timely information to management, tenants, the University, and the public.
- Ensure that the messages delivered during an emergency are consistent with the values and mission of the University and the UA Tech Park.
- Ensure that official communications from the UA Tech Park are uninterrupted, regardless of the circumstances.
- Provide an emergency response communications outline for use by UA Tech Park management.

Emergency Response Plan Training, Drills, and Exercises
Tech Parks Arizona will periodically conduct emergency response training, drills, and exercises. The purpose of these activities is to:
- Test the ability of the UA Tech Park to function as anticipated in an emergency
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide opportunities to demonstrate and practice skills
- Identify areas for future training
Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan
The purpose of this plan is to provide an extension of the Emergency Response Plan by identifying the guidelines and procedures for managing the response to Level 1 or Level 2 critical incidents/events. These levels reflect critical incidents that may adversely affect or threaten the health and safety of the UA Tech Park community or events that may disrupt the conduct of the UA Tech Park’s mission.
The plan also provides guidelines for recovery of operations after a disaster or critical event.
