Raytheon Technologies to Expand Operations into UA Tech Park at The Bridges

Raytheon Technologies is a long-standing tenant of the flagship UA Tech Park at Rita Road and is now expanding operations into the UA Tech Park at The Bridges. The expansion makes Raytheon the first corporate tenant to the multitenant building called The Refinery. Raytheon is moving in alongside several University of Arizona units: Tech Launch Arizona, the University of Arizona Office of Online, Distance & Continuing Education, the University of Arizona Applied Research Corporation (UAARC) and a University of Arizona Office of Research, Innovation & Impact meeting space.

Raytheon, a world leader in aerospace and defense, is a longstanding partner with the University of Arizona through its workforce, innovation and technology initiatives. Raytheon hires a record number of University of Arizona graduates at all skill levels, with an emphasis on engineering and other higher-wage, technical positions. We purposefully built the UA Tech Park to facilitate university-industry interaction and create a sandbox for new technology advancement and economic prosperity. The community has seen first-hand the regional benefits of the Raytheon-University relationship and it is exciting to see that momentum extending even further.
