Racing the Sun
Tech Parks Arizona, a unit of Tech Launch Arizona at the University of Arizona, is organizing a high school solar go-kart competition titled “Racing the Sun”. The competition is designed as a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) program that uses solar energy as the unifying technology. The go-kart competition links industry, academia and high school students to work collaboratively to design, build, and test solar go-karts using basic engineering and science concepts. Tech Parks Arizona is in its third year of organizing this competition.
The race will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00am - 3:00pm
