Financial Institution Data Management Startup Joins the University of Arizona Center for Innovation

(Tucson, Arizona) The University of Arizona (UA) Center for Innovation is pleased to announce its newest startup, Clear Core, which gives financial institutions access, clarity, and insight into their data to better serve their members, strengthen their communities, and reach their strategic goals.

Clear Core is redefining how financial institutions use and manage their data by ensuring all information is clean, secure and accessible; giving decision-makers data that is accurate and more readily available.

This patent-pending product empowers financial institutions with better data thus turning information into insight. The technology covers anti-fraud, performance reporting, project support and data democratization. Clear Core’s services and products can be built from the ground up for completely new systems or it can enhance an existing data warehouse and a business intelligence team already employed.

According to Founder Buck Strasser, “Being connected to the community and leveraging local resources is just as important to Clear Core as finding partners who are technology-driven, forward-thinking and collaborative. We found all of that and more in collaboration with the UA Center for Innovation and taking residence in their secure, modern workspace at UA Tech Park on Rita Road. The wealth of knowledge, insight, and assets that the team has will make Clear Core’s vision, of making data easy for financial institutions, a reality in 2020.”

The UA Center for Innovation staff is working directly with Buck Strasser, company founder, to help him demonstrate the technology, explore market segments and make connections with business and University of Arizona leaders.

“Data empowers organizations to make the better decisions based on clear and useful information. Clear Core provides that data for financial institutions who may not have the resources to do it themselves and we are excited to assist the company as they tackle such an important problem,” said Eric Smith, Executive Director, UA Center for Innovation.

The UA Center for Innovation provides companies with the people, programming and places it takes to scale a business. Clients work side by side with other technology entrepreneurs in a fast-moving, collaborative and creative environment, with the advantage of hands-on support from people who have a track record of success. Companies that have participated in UA Center for Innovation programs have attracted grant funding, investments and employees. They have established new products in the marketplace contributing to the local economy.
