Honoring the Legacy of

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

At the UA Tech Park, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of justice, equality, and unity serves as a reminder of the importance of building inclusive communities. His words, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” prompt reflection on actions that contribute to a positive impact. In honor of his enduring influence, one of the main roads into UA Tech Park at The Bridges was renamed M L King Jr. Way, symbolizing a commitment to advancing spaces where innovation and opportunity are accessible to all. This tribute reinforces his vision for a brighter, more equitable future.

MESA Math League

Competition

We had an incredible time hosting the Math League competition at the UA Tech Park, organized by the University of Arizona’s MESA program. MESA supports underrepresented communities and first-generation students in grades 6-12, increasing access to STEM pathways and promoting college readiness. It was inspiring to see talented students from Alta Vista High School and other local schools showcase their passion for math and science. We’re proud to support these young minds and can’t wait to see what they achieve—perhaps even as future innovators at UA Tech Park!

Arizona Public Media

Progress

The construction of the Paul & Alice Baker Center for Public Media is moving forward in the UA Tech Park at The Bridges at an impressive pace. Two backup generators were recently installed on the north side of Arizona Public Media (AZPM), ensuring essential systems remain operational during power outages. Progress continues with the specialized acoustic rooms, which feature a unique "room within a room" design with double framing. Built on isolated floor slabs, these spaces are carefully constructed with framed walls, ceilings, and integrated utilities.
