The University of Arizona Center for Innovation Grows Exponentially Now Serving 40 Startups

The number of startups enrolled in the University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI) program has hit an all-time high with a record number of 40 ventures. This milestone was reached through strategic measures to grow the innovation capacity here at UACI. This large influx of startup companies can more easily connect with the incubator due to its larger footprint both regionally and internationally as well as the refined and comprehensive 27-point roadmap that strategically guides entrepreneurs through an idea to launch to success.

Local Startup combines Technology and Life Sciences for a New Method of Vaccines

Tucson Local Media highlighted UACI startup Reparvi and the work they're doing to combine tech and life science for a new method of vaccines in a recent article. Reparvi is developing the Cell Repair EngineeringTM platform to enable advanced mammalian cell-based engineering through gene delivery that has a capacity for immune evasion. Since the human immune system is based on replicating what it's encountered, creating a non-virus particle with architecture similar to a virus can trigger an immune response.

Searching for an experienced medical device or pharmaceutical sales professional to join a team and assist with business development efforts as a 1099 contractor. Healthy commissions for every signed purchase order or letter of intent obtained. Each purchase order would represent about $1600 in commission to the right person. Connections to OBGYN offices would be a major plus.

Searching for a PhD level engineer or scientist who is creative, innovative, thrives on technical challenges and is comfortable merging concepts from different technical disciplines to be part of the founding team, launching new instrumentation that will change how the world is seen.
