Tech Launch Arizona and Tech Parks Arizona will be exhibiting and connecting with students as part of the expo on April 14 at the University of Arizona.

UA Tech Park Featured at International Trade Show
The University of Arizona's tech parks will be spotlighted for the first time at the world's largest international technology trade show in April in Germany. The United States is the featured nation at Hannover Messe 2016. The University of Arizona is among the 20 academic and technology institutes invited to attend. The groups will show off their research, business startups and global partnerships at the event. Tech Parks Arizona will promote its Global Advantage program, designed to help international technology companies enter the North American market.

BESST Workshop
Tech Parks Arizona partnered with Vail Unified School District and volunteers on March 10 to host high school students at the UA Tech Park for a career readiness workshop. The session included mock interviews, a post that evaluated the student's applications and a resume review station. Volunteers from Citi, IBM, Nesco Resources, Tech Parks Arizona and Vail Unified School District provided the young leaders with valuable feedback who said it was a great experience to prepare them for the future.

IDEAS 2016 Conference on Mining and Logistics
Tech Parks Arizona will be moderating a panel on mining innovation on May 4 as part of the IDEAS 2016 Conference at the Port of Tucson. The conference informs industry and logistics professionals about the region's improved freight infrastructure, supporting all modes of transportation, validating Arizona and Sonora - the "Sun Corridor" - as a Mega-Region for trade and transportation. The conference includes educational workshops, breakout sessions and a business expo.

La Idea Visits the UA Tech Park
On March 11, we hosted a group of entrepreneurs from Latin America to learn more about sustainable operations and new development at the UA Tech Park, the Solar Zone and the Arizona Center for Innovation. The Pacific Alliance uses La Idea's platform to promote entrepreneurship and small business growth. It also reinforces strong U.S. economic relations and the free trade agreements with each Pacific Alliance member country.
