As part of the Global Advantage program, the University of Arizona (UA) signed an agreement with Ben Gurion University of Negev and the UA Tech Park signed an agreement with Gav Yam Negev Advanced Technologies Park during a recent business trip to Israel. Global Advantage has launched an aggressive effort to recruit domestic and international technology companies to the Tech Park. Through research and by visiting Israel, a number of strong business collaboration leads were generated. These Israeli business leaders are interested in entering the U.S. market via the Global Advantage program.

Company Looks to Develop System to Monitor Drones
Drone Control Systems, a startup company housed at the Arizona Center for Innovation, is working on a product that could allow the pilot and a government entity to see if a drone is in a no fly zone or an area not approved for drone flights.
