JUNE 2020

The Refinery is Progressing at the UA Tech Park at The Bridges

Dirt is turning at The UA Tech Park at The Bridges. Watch the first building, The Refinery, come out of the ground by developer The Boyer Company. The first new building is named “The Refinery” because of its proximity to the talent and bright minds that can be mined from the University of Arizona. This four-story building is a private-public project that will be anchored by the University of Arizona serving as a hub for tech commercialization activities, invention development and product refinement where innovators can bring their ideas to life and corporations can work directly with university researchers to fast forward their discoveries.

Leader in Innovation

The University of Arizona is driving innovation forward. UArizona ranks No. 39 among the top 100 worldwide universities with the most U.S. patents granted for inventions in 2019. This ranking showcases that the University is successfully progressing in solving problems and invention development that can make our world a better place to live.
