25 Years of Success With a Focus on the Future

For 25 years, the University of Arizona Tech Park has contributed to regional economic development by advancing the University of Arizona's research mission and technology development. Annually, the Tech Park and its tenants contribute nearly $2 billion to the local economy and is one of the region’s largest employment centers. This year, we celebrate 25 years of success at the University of Arizona Tech Park. The celebration not only commemorates the past success but especially focuses on the future.

Holiday Pop-up Party in the Park

On December 4, Tech Parks Arizona hosted a Holiday Pop-up Party in the Park for employees of companies housed at the University of Arizona Tech Park as well as 25-year sponsors and VIPS. Attendees enjoyed food, drinks, live music, dancing and stargazing courtesy of the Tucson Amateur Astrology Association.

Head of Research Recognized by AAAS in New Class of Fellows

Dr. Elizabeth “Betsy” Cantwell, senior vice president for research and innovation at the University of Arizona has been elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world's largest general scientific society. An induction ceremony will take place February 15 during the 2020 AAAS Annual Meeting in Seattle.
