Discussion about COVID-19 Testing

The University of Arizona Center for Innovation has teamed up with leading scientist Matt Lingard to host a webinar about why there is an increased need for Covid-19 testing.

Based on his extensive experience in this space, he is looking for an engaged discussion about the current needs for increased testing and how to get there quickly, utilizing resources we have.

More details about the session: Although the concept of rapidly scaling up testing technologies in the face of a global pandemic is not new, the reality has highlighted gaps in our strategies that need to be filled if we are to safely, rapidly, and sustainably return a majority of our population to work. Bayer Crop Sciences operates industry-leading high-throughput DNA and protein detection platforms used to accelerate plant breeding and biotech product pipelines. Matt Lingard will share experiences gained from 10 years of personal history and 20+ years of industry perspective and discuss how they can be applied to groups attempting to scale their testing footprint in response to the current need for increased COVID-19 testing.
