Adam Escobar- NP Photonics

Adam Escobar is a Systems Engineer at NP Photonics. He is responsible for the electronics, software, and mechanical design of the companys fiber optic laser systems. Adam started at NP Photonics over 12 years ago when he was hired to improve and design the companys standard products and provide production support for streamlined manufacturability. He enjoys being part of a team that excels and prides itself with innovation and cutting edge technology.  He enjoys being creative and producing products from a conceptual idea to a physical functioning system.  Adams 19 years of experience in electronics and laser systems started when he was a field service engineer for Alacatel Network Systems traveling the U.S. coast to coast.  His duties included installation, testing, tune-up, customer hand-off and the re-design of SONET equipment implementation. He continued his education while working at Worldwide Laser Corp becoming an electronics systems engineer. Adam and his team design custom turn-key automated Co2 and Nd-Yag laser cutting / marking systems. Outside of work Adam leads a very active and energetic lifestyle.  He likes hiking, camping, fishing, off-roading, and motorcycle riding.  Some of his other hobbies include turning wrenches on vehicles, recreational construction work, concerts and hanging out with friends.
