Between the City of Tucson and Pima County, Metro Tucson boasts over 100 displays of outdoor public art. Like our many festivals and unique cuisine, our public art contributes to Tucson’s distinctive sense of place. The region’s rich and diverse public art scene includes an extensive collection of murals, sculptures, and interactive installations. Tucson's public art initiatives, such as the "Mural Arts Program" and the "Tucson Arts Brigade," have transformed the city's streetscapes into vibrant outdoor galleries. These captivating murals often developed by local artists, depict the multicultural heritage and unique Sonoran Desert landscape. If you look around Tucson, you'll find inspiring art - from both our past and present – that not only is a testament to the city's cultural diversity but also a driving force behind Tucson's thriving business landscape..
